SetPeerCache.exe is a tool to edit the default resource threshold limits for Peer Cache Source Systems (SuperPeers)
To Run this - drop it into ...\Microsoft Configuration Manager\AdminConsole\bin
From an Elevated Command Prompt run SetPeerCache.exe and follow the prompts.
To run on the local machine (if running on a server) - Enter '.'
To run on a rmeote system - enter the Computer Name
You will be asked for a CollectionID - this is the collection to which the settings will apply - i.e the Collection of Peer Cache source machines (SuperPeers)
You will then be prompted to enter the values for the various reosurce thresholds.
The defaults are as follows:
MaxAvgDiskQueueLength (default 10) MaxPerCentProcessorTime (default 80) MaxConnectionCountOnClients (default 0 - which I guess means the OS limit) MaxConnectionCountOnServers (as above) RejectWhenBatteryLow (default TRUE)
happy Peer Caching!
P.S If it breaks stuff we are not to blame. Always test in a lab environments first!
