Brian Mason Joins 2Pint Software as Principal Consultant: Shaping the Future of ConfigMgr through a decade of MVP excellence

Ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your Management points, we’ve got a spectacle worth rolling out the red carpet for! Yes, you heard it right. Brian Mason, a man with more Microsoft Valued Professional (MVP) awards you can shake a stick at (12 years’ worth to be exact), has joined 2Pint Software dream team as a Principal Consultant.

Now, we’re not saying he is a superhero, but rumour has it that he once upgraded ConfigMgr during a thunderstorm while riding a Segway and juggling trays of shrimp! That’s right, the man is so dedicated to his craft that Mother Nature cannot even stop him. We are delighted to welcome Brian into the 2Pint family. Brian’s contributions are legendary, highly respected and he has left an indelible mark on the Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr) Community, and he has helped countless organizations in their IT management journeys. His personal input and unwavering dedication have played an integral role in shaping ConfigMgr into what it is today. We are pretty sure he has a cape somewhere in his closet.  

With Brian onboard, 2Pint is ready to push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of Microsoft Intune and ConfigMgr. We are assembling the ultimate dream team of superheroes! Imagine the possibilities when these two titans of Management expertise join forces. Large-scale systems management solutions won’t know what hit them. Will there be heated debates over co-hosting Management Points and Distribution Points? Sure, hope so. Bring it on Brian!  

Brian's MVP journey is like a fine wine – it just keeps getting better with age. He’s been like the Gandalf of ConfigMgr, guiding us through the wilderness of systems management with his wisdom and magic stick (okay, maybe not a stick but you get the idea). His experience and dedication have contributed to invaluable insights and innovative to the evolution of ConfigMgr. His deep understanding of the software, coupled with a commitment to sharing his knowledge with the community and being a true leader, has made him a respected figure in our community world. We are thrilled to have him on board and believe his invaluable experience will further enhance our ability to provide cutting-edge solutions to our clients. To build for the future, we must learn from the past and with Brian's knowledge, we aim to push the boundaries of what is possible. I might go as far as saying he is the Yoda of ConfigMgr…may the patches be with you!  

I personally got to meet Brian, being our very own master of ceremonies, the conference guru behind MMS MOA and I always have had the uttermost respect for his knowledge and cool in most complex and stressful situations. Early on in 2Pint Software days, Brian told us during one late night in the Firelake Bar that we were “doing the right thing” and things would eventually go well for us, leading Phil and I to push harder to try to dominate the landscape we operate in and continue to contribute back to the community. Although we are not totally dominating yet, it was nice to having your very own personal Cheerleader on a Segway! We will continue to try to stay humble on this journey, and if not, I am sure Brian will be there on his Segway keeping us in order.
