2Pint Software welcomes Nathan Ziehnert to the team!

We say Nathan, you say Ziehnert! Welcoming the latest fantastic addition to our team of Principal Engineers at 2Pint Software.

One more amazing team member has joined 2Pint Software, and yet another face many of you will recognize from the community at MMS. Welcome none other than Nathan Ziehnert to 2Pint, or as he is affectionately known, Z-Nerd (the joke is on those who thought this was an insult when he was a kid 🙂). Although Nathan has been with us for a couple of months now, this is an announcement that is better late than never!

For those not in the curling community 😉, you will of course know Nathan as yet another legend who is a regular feature at user groups and MMS events. Nathan has been a longtime friend of 2Pint and the team, and we are pleased to finally welcome him into the family! We have been impressed by his work since we first came across him. Nathan has worked in endpoint management for more than 15 years as an administrator, consultant, and product manager, working with companies ranging from 100 endpoints to more than 400,000 endpoints across several verticals, including education, finance, government, and legal. He is also a Microsoft MVP in PowerShell. When he's not working on endpoints or some crazy project (he's an eternal tinkerer), he enjoys spending time with his family and is also an avid (but beginner) curler at the Denver Curling Club.

Over the years, Nathan has held a number of roles in systems management that make him a tremendous fit for 2Pint. He brings a fresh perspective and valuable insight, and he is a true professional, having worked as an analyst, engineer, consultant, and software engineer. With Nathan's unique background, 2Pint continues to build upon an already exceptional team while adding even more expertise to the exciting collaboration we enjoy every day. Nathan has already aligned seamlessly with the 2Pint Software team and is fully embracing both development and engineering. As is typical for Nathan, he is eager to get his hands dirty. We know Nathan will play a pivotal role at 2Pint Software and will deliver tremendous value to our customers through every conversation and engagement. Nathan will be a major part of building the future of operating system deployments, device manageability, bandwidth management, and more with the team.

Throughout his career, Nathan has also been no slouch when it comes to blogging. You can head over to Z-nerd.com to see his prolific output. You'll also find a treasure trove of articles in his archives that are well worth reading. You'll regularly find him speaking at user groups around the United States, at MMS, and perhaps soon in Europe (watch this space!). If you've got a user group or conference and need someone to fill an hour with stupid memes and some mild (or sometimes deep) technical PowerShell content, Nathan is your guy. We can highly recommend him, although we may be slightly biased.

Despite finding time for all of this, Nathan is also very active in his local community, stays busy with his kids, and is always willing to dig deep and help those around him.
