I am absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news with you all – Ranjith Lewis is joining as our external facing Global CTO.
Having worked with Ranjith during my time at IBM, I can personally vouch for his brilliance. He’s one of the sharpest minds in the industry and an exceptional colleague who brings both passion and expertise in equal measure. We’re in for an exciting ride!
Ranjith will play a pivotal role as he bridges Product Development & Innovation with Customer Management and Delivery. In this external-facing role, he’ll work closely with our superstar engineers and our fantastic customer base, ensuring our solutions stay cutting-edge and customer-centric.
A Bit About Ranjith’s Journey:
- He holds a PhD from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and has most recently been the Nordic CTO at Kyndryl, after an impressive tenure at IBM.
- Starting his career in the service desk, he’s since moved through the ranks to lead large enterprise managed services and complex outsourcing solutions. His all-encompassing approach ensures we’re looking at solutions holistically—something our customers will love!
- With a startup mentality and a drive for innovation, he has been at the forefront of leading technical and architectural teams, driving transformative projects for clients.
- Ranjith has been a key player across multiple technology domains like predictive analytics, AI, integration, and automation, and has a flair for leading large-scale, impactful projects.
A Truly Global Citizen: Ranjith’s background is as diverse as his talents—born in Ireland, with Sri Lankan roots, living in Denmark, and married to a German. He’s a lover of travel, culture, and new experiences. Oh, and don’t be surprised if you hear him switch seamlessly between languages—he’s fluent in many!
🏎️ F1, Football, and Fun: Ranjith’s a massive Formula 1 and football fan (though he’ll humbly admit his own skills might need some work 🤫). Maybe we’ll see him and Michael Niehaus catching a football match the next time Michael’s in Europe!
🍛 Foodie Alert: We’ve got another foodie in the house! Ranjith loves to cook, with a particular passion for spicy curries. When he’s not in the kitchen, he’s always happy to be on the receiving end of a good meal, whether at home or dining out.
And beyond all the professional brilliance, Ranjith is a family man through and through—balancing life with three kids and a dog (I know those 4 boys keep him on his toes!). He’s also known to lend a hand in his community, whether it’s with tech support, gardening, or even cooking for his neighbours!
