era, we missed the chance to snag him for the team; a decision we've regretted
ever since. I mean, who wouldn't want a slice of that Niehaus magic?

forward to my contracting days at Microsoft, where our paths finally crossed.
Michael, the maestro of the BDD/MDT journey, had already set sail on the seas
of IT excellence. We've since tag-teamed at conferences, sharing the stage and,
let's be honest, sharing a few laughs along the way.

contrast to my own perpetual state of chaos. Working with him is like sipping a

we are, nine years into the wild ride that Phil and I call a company. The fact
that someone of Michael's caliber not only noticed us but actively wanted to
join our circus is an achievement I'm still trying to wrap my head around. It's
like having LeBron James ask to join your pickup basketball game – you just
stand there, wide-eyed, wondering if the universe has played a cosmic joke on
you.
So, to sum
it up – Michael Niehaus, the maestro, the missed opportunity turned success
story, the calm in our storm – welcome to the chaos, my friend. We've been
expecting you, even if the universe took its sweet time aligning the stars. Little known fact, I even passed the
hiring interviews to join the MDT team and work alongside with Michael, but
failed to accept the job due to US VISA requirements, so the job was (I think)
taken by other people now working for 2Pint Software, what a small world!
